How much does a bespoke ring cost?

Example 1: A platinum setting on a 18ct yellow gold band, princess cut halo ring with diamond set shoulders. Total cost  $5,700.00

Our client wanted to create an engagement ring with a princess cut diamond as the feature stone with a diamond set band, but had a budget constraint that allowed only a certain size of centre stone. To address this, we suggested a halo design by adding round brilliant cut diamonds around the centre diamond to give the ring more volume and enhance the overall look.

The centre setting was made with platinum, which is harder wearing than gold, and we used an 18ct yellow gold for the band. Due to a recent increase in gold prices, the platinum and gold combination was the best option for this client. In total, the ring cost $5,700.00, and we set 14 round brilliant cut diamonds on the band, 7 on each side.

We believe that the final result was a truly stunning engagement ring that was tailor-made to the client’s budget and design preferences.

Example 2: A platinum ring with round Australian sapphire and pear shaped diamonds. Total cost for the ring $4,795.00

Our client wanted to use a round parti sapphire for their engagement ring, which is a natural blend of two colors (generally yellow and green). We offered them a selection of sapphires to choose from, and they were particularly taken with the one we suggested, that was complemented by pear-shaped diamonds.

The pear-shaped diamonds taper down the band of the ring, and we were able to set five round brilliant cut diamonds on either side of the band. We made sure to choose stones that were within the budget the client had in mind. The total cost for this platinum ring, which features a round Australian sapphire and pear-shaped diamonds, is $4,795.00.

Example 3: An 18ct rose gold ring with a 1.66ct Natural Padparadscha sapphire and a halo of round brilliant cut diamonds. Total cost $8,980.00

This stunning ring features a 1.66ct natural Padparadscha sapphire, which has a pinkish-orange hue and tone. Our client wanted to use this specific stone, and we were thrilled to show them several options to choose from. The natural Padparadscha sapphire our client chose had a beautiful shade and tone that reflects its cost (some are heat-treated, but this one was not).

To complement the center stone for the cluster design, we used 22 x 1.2mm round brilliant cut lab-grown diamonds. The ring was made completely from pure 18ct rose gold. The total cost for this exquisite ring was $8,980.00.

Example 5: A platinum ring set with a round brilliant cut diamond and Australian pear-shaped sapphires. Total cost $5,200.00

Our client worked with us to create a unique engagement ring design via email. They then flew down from Townsville to meet us at Brisbane airport to choose a round, brilliant cut diamond for the centre stone, in a three-stone design. To complement the centre diamond, we used pear-shaped Australian sapphires, resulting in a truly stunning piece.

The ring was made in platinum to a design that was customer-led, ensuring a completely unique and personalized finished product. Example 6: A platinum ring set with an oval 1.51ct diamond with diamond set shoulders. Total cost $20,000.00

Our client had a specific vision in mind for his engagement ring and had already worked on the design he wanted. He wanted to use an oval 1.50ct diamond and had a specific budget to work within. We were able to help him achieve his vision by choosing a diamond from our vast portfolio of diamonds and using our knowledge of the 4Cs to maximize his budget.

The ring was made in platinum and had 14 round brilliant cut diamonds set to the band, resulting in a truly stunning and unique piece. As with all of our bespoke pieces, the cost reflects the high quality of the materials used, as well as the time and craftsmanship involved in creating a one-of-a-kind piece.

Example 7: An 18ct white gold ring set with a 2.08ct lab grown diamond. Total cost $7,765.00

This client also had a specific vision in mind for their ring and desired a round 2ct brilliant cut diamond, but also had a certain budget in mind. However, given the size of the diamond they wanted, their budget was not feasible. To provide a cost-effective solution, we suggested using a lab-grown diamond instead. We then selected a stunning 2.08ct round brilliant cut D colored VS clarity lab-grown diamond from our extensive portfolio of lab-grown diamonds.

Together, we designed an 18ct gold solitaire ring that perfectly complemented the chosen diamond. This resulted in a unique and beautiful piece of jewelry that was created to meet the client’s specific needs.

As with all our bespoke pieces, the cost reflects the high quality of the materials used, as well as the time and craftsmanship involved in creating a one-of-a-kind piece.

Example 8: A platinum ring set with a pear-shaped diamond. Total cost $10,300.00

Our client came to us with a halo design in mind and wanted to incorporate a pear-shaped diamond as the centerpiece. To complement this stunning diamond, we set 59 round brilliant cut diamonds to the halo and band of the ring.

We also included two round emeralds set in 18ct yellow gold underneath the halo as a hidden design feature that can only be revealed upon closer inspection. The resulting engagement ring design was truly stunning.
