Michael’s value lies in what experience allows him to see.
Michael Dransfield began his career as a jewellery apprentice in Leeds in 1975. More than five decades later, that experience informs every Burgundy commission — from recognising a truly beautiful stone to understanding how an ambitious design will sit, wear and endure.
You work directly with Michael throughout. Arrive with a detailed idea, a handful of references or no clear starting point at all; he will listen, explain the possibilities and guide each decision without expecting you to become a jewellery expert first.

Michael will translate what you know about them — their style, personality and the details that matter — into a completely individual design. Diamond or gemstone, setting, proportions, metal and finish are considered as one piece, with honest guidance at every stage.
