You meet directly with me, Michael Dransfield, for a Zoom consultation. We discuss your ideas, preferences, budget considerations, and timeline. You can bring inspiration images or start from scratch. Wedding ring designs can be viewed during your consultation to help you visualise options and explore different styles.
Step 2. Stone selection and design development
You can browse diamonds through our online diamond platform, which connects directly to diamond dealers and offers a wide selection from under one carat to over five carats if needed. I guide you through diamond selection by showing you several options within your criteria and explaining why one may offer better value or performance than another. We also source sapphires, emeralds, rubies, and other precious gemstones. Diamonds are certified by IGI or GIA.
Together, we refine the design, including ring size, band width, metal choice such as white gold, yellow gold, rose gold, silver, or platinum, and setting style, including solitaire, halo, bezel, claw, trilogy, curved, flat, vintage, modern, art deco, or minimalist.
