Don’t buy a ring until you see this, because when you are planning a secret proposal, designing bespoke engagement rings, or creating a meaningful piece to mark a wedding or milestone, privacy is not optional. You are not just buying a ring. You are working directly with me, Michael Dransfield, bringing over 50 years of experience crafting bespoke jewellery. I am your Ringman Wingman, guiding you through stone selection, design decisions, and value, while keeping your engagement plans confidential if needed.

I operate a we come to you jeweller model. That means no traditional retail shop front, no glass cabinets of stock, and no busy showroom floor conversations about your budget. In-person meetings are available in Brisbane, the Gold Coast, and the Sunshine Coast. Outside these locations, consultations are conducted via Zoom across Australia and internationally.

Every piece I create is handcrafted to order. I do not carry a range of rings to try on. I do not operate like a retail store with stock sitting in a collection waiting to be sold. You meet with me personally, we design what you want, and I create it from scratch.

During your consultation, jewellery designs can be viewed and refined together. I use sample sizes and cubic zirconium stones to demonstrate proportions, cut styles, and how a ring will sit on the hand. When it comes to diamonds and gemstones, we explore them through my online diamond platform, which connects directly to diamond dealers worldwide. This allows you to browse certified stones ranging from under one carat to over five carats, including natural and lab grown diamonds, without retail overheads. Stones are IGI or GIA certified, and we review certification details together so you understand cut, brilliance, clarity, and value.

If you are planning a surprise engagement, I will keep the secret proposal a secret if we need to.

When you book a consultation, request the Multisizer, place an order, or contact me about bespoke jewellery services, I may collect personal information necessary to create your piece and deliver it securely.

This may include:

• Your name, contact details, and delivery address
• Design preferences, inspiration images, budget guidance, and metal selection were discussed during the consultation
• Diamond or gemstone preferences, including sapphire, emerald, tourmaline, amethyst, and other precious stones
• Payment information processed securely

This information allows me to guide you properly, source ethical materials, arrange insured shipping, and provide ongoing service support.

I do not sell or trade your information. I do not share your engagement story. Your personal details are used solely to deliver the jewellery and service you have requested.

If you explore my website, read the journal, view design content, or browse online resources, anonymous analytics may be used to improve user experience. This does not personally identify you unless you voluntarily provide information.

Engagement rings and bespoke jewellery represent significant emotional and financial investment. That demands secure systems.

Payment processing, digital design approvals, and client records are handled through encrypted platforms. Access to information is restricted to what is required to complete your commission.

Diamond certification documents, valuation details, and sourcing records are stored securely. If you require documentation for insurance purposes, it is provided directly and privately.

While no digital system in the world can promise absolute immunity from cyber risk, I implement commercially reasonable safeguards aligned with Australian privacy standards and regularly review data handling procedures.

When you commission a custom ring, wedding band, necklace, bracelet, earrings, or pendant, the design is yours.

I do not replicate your exact bespoke engagement ring or signature piece for another client without your consent. If you provide family jewellery for remodelling, inherited stones, or a birthstone concept, your ideas and materials remain your property.

If I would like to photograph your finished piece for the website, blog, Instagram, or newsletter, I will ask for permission first. This is particularly important when an engagement proposal has not yet taken place.

Bespoke means client-led. I do not design from a stock range. I design based on your story.

For clients who require additional protection, I am happy to formalise confidentiality through a Non-Disclosure Agreement.

This may apply to high-value diamond commissions, rare Argyle pink stones, exclusive designs, family crest signet rings, or corporate gifts.

Confidentiality covers:

• Design concepts and jewellery designs
• Diamond and gemstone sourcing details
• Pricing discussions
• Proposal timing and personal milestones

You are working directly with me. That relationship is built on trust.

You have the right to request access to the personal information held about you. You may request corrections, withdraw marketing consent, or request deletion of records where legally permitted.

To do so, contact me directly by phone or email. There are no call centres, no ticket systems, and no layers between you and the person responsible.

Transparency also applies to the jewellery process. I educate you on natural diamonds and lab grown diamonds, explain certification, discuss cut styles such as round, oval, pear, emerald, princess, marquise, halo, and cluster settings, and guide you through gold, platinum, silver, and other metals. My role is not to sell you what I have. It is to help you create what you want.

Privacy is built into the way I operate from start to finish.

3. Discreet insured shipping and careful communication to protect surprise engagements

Bespoke engagement rings typically take approximately four weeks from design approval to completion. Throughout that period, your information, your design, and your timeline remain confidential.

If you are unsure of ring size, I can send my free world-famous Multisizer to you so you can size your finger at home discreetly.

I source certified diamonds, lab grown stones, sapphire, emerald, tourmaline, amethyst, and other precious gemstones through trusted international and Australian suppliers. Where possible, I use recycled gold and platinum metals.
